Rudolf Roháček: all players give everything from themselves

Every player has a different ability and parameters, but all of them are training for 100%. We are going to make trainings a little bit more varied so it wont get monotonous and players will be motivated for all the time - said coach Rudolf Roháček after first outdoor training.

-We have just started a second period of the pre-season preparation. What it would be like?

Well, this is going to be a though four weeks. A lot of that will look like today, running on mountains with vests. This is a very hard type of training. Im glad that the weather is good.

- How do the players feel after todays training?

It depends. Some are feeling better, some worse. Training was adapted for every player, beacuse everyone has a different strenght and abillities. The most important thing is that everyone gave 100 percent from themselves.

- Except running on mountains, will there be a new kind of exercises?

We will use kayaks and have a lot of trainings with gums. We want to swim on kayaks to make our trainings more diversified. Futhermore, it will be standard preparation time.

- Patryk Gosztyła just came to our club. Why did you decided to choose this player?

He is very young. He plays as a defender. Patryk has a good physique and spent last years of his career in youth teams of Slovak clubs. I think he can get even better here. He is a part of the Polish mens national under-20 ice hockey team. If he will progress as he does, then he will play for the senior team. We want to have young players in our team. Patryk isnt the last young player that will be a part of Comarch Cracovia for the next season.

- Aron Chmielewski and Paweł Zygmunt are great examples that young players can start great career in Pasy.

Young players, which made their debuts in Polish Hockey League, were always a part of our team, but it is a difficult topic. Some players make it to the senior team and some dont. Not every player has a right mentality to success, but we cant complain. Aron Chmielewski, Paweł Zygmunt, Sebastian Brynkus, Łukasz Kamiński, and now Patryk Gosztyła - these are great young players. Im sure there will be others. If they only put hockey on a first place in their lives and focus on the training, they will become amazing players. Its important that those players will come to our club at the young age. In my opinion, 20-years old player is a little bit too old. They should come to us as a teenagers, 16-years old, 17-years old. I think that even 18-years old is too late, but if he played in good clubs abroad then its ok.

- Will there be a player that started his career in Pasy in the next seasons team?

It depends only on them, but I think if they will work as they do right now - then yes.
