Štěpán, how would you rate our 8:3 win with Polonia Bytom?

We needed a match like that in Bytom. A high win will definitely make us believe in ourselves and earn points. It is also important that we have scored a lot of goals, much more than in the last few games.

You found your way to the net three times. Was this your first hat-trick in the career?

Yes. For the first time in a senior career I managed to defeat the opposite goalkeeper three times. I am very happy about it, and the more so because it happened in Comarch Cracovia.

During the game you have been unlucky enough to suffer from hit of the puck in the face. How do you feel and is it a serious injury?

It was quite an unhappy situation because I was in the box while it happened. During one of the actions, the puck bounced off our opponents stick and flew towards me. However, these things in hockey are normal. I feel very good and Im also ready to play all the time.

How would you describe the atmosphere in the team?

The atmosphere is very good, especially when we win. With every match or training we get to know each other better - not only as players, but also as a team mates.

You appeared in our team at the beginning of the current competition. Can you already estimate the level of the Polish Hockey League?

The Polish league is at a high level. There are many talented players here who can make a great career. The only drawback that I noticed is the large disproportion between the teams. The ones from the bottom of the table clearly give a way to stronger clubs in terms of players skills as well as the point gains.
