The first part of Comarch Cracovias summer trainings has just finished. After the two-week break, ending on 23rd of July, the players will begin their preparations on ice and play the sparring session including five control matches in August.

Before the new season, Comarch Cracovia has signed two players, both of them are strikers. Mateusz Bepierszcz previously played in GKS Tychy and Štěpán Csamangó came to us from HC Karlovy Vary. Our young player, 17 years old Antoni Dziurdzia also joined the first team. Coach Rudolf Rohaček said that in the new season he will give juniors more chances: "In the upcoming season, we want to give more opportunities to 16-17 years old players. This is the best time to bring them to the first team. Thanks to this, they will be fully prepared for next year."

The summer training of Comarch Cracovias players started at 7th of May. Rudolf Roháčeks plan began with a set of exercises outside the ice rink."Including for example power trainings at the Saturn Fitness Gym, running sessions in the open air or canoeing. The main target for this hard and demanding eight-week period was to build strength, speed and body resistance for the upcoming season." According to the Roháčeks opinion after the trainings, the plan was very effectively executed. As the Coach said: "The first part of the trainings was a very successful one. The weather conditions held up to our plans and allowed us to carry out everything we assumed. The players were very professional about the training sessions and we can say that all the plans were 100% fulfilled."

After the "dry", power-developing training, the players were allowed to go on two-week break, ending on 23rd of July. The second part of preseason preparations will start after that date and will also include more typical trainings on the ice rink. Its also a start of the five-match sparring period, starting at the 2nd of August. Pasy will play against one Polish and two Czech teams. Our team will play two (home and away) matches against Unia Oświęcim and AZ Havířov and one against HC Frýdek-Místek.
