It has been talked about for months but today we have received the official confirmation as the parties who organize Comarch Cracovias Champions Hockey Lague games - representatives of the club and the city from the Sports Infrastructure Management Board of Krakow and the City Development Agency - met during todays press conference. They announced that both of Comarch Cracovias home fixtures in group O will be played out in TAURON Arena Kraków.

‘Its a huge honour to have the Polish Champions play their games at TAURON Arena Kraków. We are more than happy to host the Champions Hockey League games, said Sports Infrastructure Management Board of Krakow Director, Krzysztof Kowal.

‘We would like to invite everyone to TAURON Arena Kraków. The tickets will very soon go on sale at ebilet.pl with the prices starting at 22,50 zł. You will be able to attend one of the games for 15 zł, said Cracovia Vice-chairman of the Board, Jakub Tabisz.

On the 17th of August Pasy will face Sparta Praha in a highly anticipated game, and in their second Group O encounter on the 19th of August they are to compete with Färjestad BK who are the most successful Swedish Hockey League club of the 21st century.

Even though Pasy dont usually play their home games at TAURON Arena Kraków it will not be the first time they hit the ice at this sports venue. Two years ago Comarch Cracovia competed there in the Polish Cup finals and a few months later a few Pasy players were in Poland squad for the IIHF World Championship Division I Group A that took place at the arena.

‘There is a very difficult task ahead of us. None of us had a chance to play at this level with their club. I hope hockey fans from all over Poland will come to Cracow and help us achieve a good result. On behalf of the team I promise you - we will give our best, said Comarch Cracovia goalie Rafał Radziszewski.
