Top goal-scoring globetrotter David Turoň joins Pasy
Comarch Cracovia has signed David Turoň on a contract until the end of the season. In the past the player was drafted by Toronto Maple Leafs!
‘Im sure we will benefit from his experience, says Comarch Cracovia coach Rudolf Rohaček. The new Pasy player David Turoň is 189 m tall and weighs 90 kg. He used to play for clubs from Czech Republic, Slovakia, Germany, Italy, Austria as well as the United States and Canada. In 2002 he was drafted in the fourth round by an NHL team Toronto Maple Leafs, however, he was not given the chance to make a debut in the best league in the world.
Last season Turoň played for Ciarko PBS Bank Sanok, becoming top-scoring defender in Polish Hockey League. He started this season in Elite Hockey League in Great Britain, where he scored 5 goals and had 14 assists in 46 games.
