Adam Domogała: We approach these games with additional motivation
This weekend proved to be very successful for Comarch Cracovia, who won against Unia Oświęcim and Ciarko PBS Bank Sanok, strengthening their league leadership. Comarch Cracovia forward Adam Domogała talks about those games and upcoming matches with Podhale and GKS Tychy.
This weekend you managed to prove that there is no crisis for your team.
- Exactly! After we lost against Podhale some said that we have a dip in form, but that was just one worse game on our part. In Oświęcim and Sanok we showed to everyone we deserve to be leaders of the Polish Hockey League.
In Sanok the game hung in the balance until the last seconds. How come you conceded two goals near the end of the match?
- I think we relaxed too much when winning 4-1. From the very beginning we were the dominant side but the hosts have shown a lot of ambition. Fortunately, we deservedly grabbed the three points.
Because of injuries Artciom Bazhko i Pavel Kutsevich were you linemates in the last three games. How was it playing with them?
- It was great, we understand one another very well. Well see how it will look like in the future when the injured players return to the squad.
The next weekend will be very important for you with games against Podhale and GKS Tychy.
- We approach these games with additional motivation. It would be great to win against two top teams at the end of the regular season. We would be preparing for the play-offs in much better mood. But right now were focusing on the match with Podhale.
Youll try to get your revenge after last defeat to Podhale?
- We want to grab three points and prove to our fans that the 4-1 defeat was an accident. We need to be calm and give one hundred percent just like in the Polish Cup final.
