Damian, the match in Jastrzębie from the beginning was full of hard and sharp game. Was that the plan for this match or maybe your rival imposed such conditions on you?

This is hockey and that's how you just play now. We tried to play aggressively, and our rivals did not intend to let go. It all made this meeting look like this.

You showed the winners' mentality again this season. You've already lost two goals, and yet you have managed to reverse the fate of this match…

This time luck turned in our favor, but we also showed ourselves that we can fight to the end and despite the unfavorable result, chase rivals and play to the end. In the last match against JKH in Krakow, which we lost 2:3, it was totally the opposite. We scored two goals, but later we lost the advantage. Therefore, we are happy that we have learned the lessons and now we can enjoy the victory.

Surely you can also be individually satisfied because you add two hits to your achievements?

Well, this is not the case, because this meeting could have been better in my performance. Of course, I enjoy the effectiveness and good play in the attack. However, the most important for me is the good of the team and the final result, and the issue of individual statistics goes to the background.

Of course, Miro has proven more than once that he is a certain point in our goal and we can thank him largely for this victory. Thanks to this, we can be calm about playing defensive and focus on scoring goals.

There are two away matches ahead of you, but we are coming back to Siedleckiego 7 on Tuesday. Are you counting on fans of Cracovia?

Our supporters are always able to support us in difficult times, for which we thank them very much. On Tuesday, we are going to have a very important match against Toruń and of course we will need support of our fans. We hope that they will visit us at the match and lead us to the next victory.
