Patryk Gosztyła was born on January 11, 2000 in Krynica - Zdrój. He started his carrer in a club from his hometown. Later on, he played in junior teams of Slovak clubs. In the last season Gosztyła played in 40 matches for MHk 32 Liptovsky Mikulas U-20 team in which he scored one goal and had 5 assists. He also played in two games of Polish Hockey League as a part of the Poland national mens ice hockey U-23 team.

-I decided to join Pasy, because I want to get better and it will be a huge step forward in my career. I want to thank coach for trust that he put in me by giving everyting from myself. I cant wait for my debut in Comarch Cracovia and the beggining of the PHL - said Patryk Gosztyła just after signing the contract that will be valid for three years.
