Tomorrow in Nowy Targ Comarch Cracovia will face TatrySki Podhale in the Polish Cup semifinal. Krystian Dziubiński talks about the holidays and getting ready for the game.

- Was it hard to get back on ice after the Christmas break?

- No, three days off allowed us to relax and regain our strength. Of course, the break could have been a little bit longer (laughs). But thats how it is when you play hockey. Were not complaining.

- Christmas came after your defeat to GKS Tychy. Have you already left it in the past?

- After you leave the dressing room, you shouldnt think back to the game, especially when its Christmas. Im sure all of us had so much to do at home, we managed to focus on something else and not brood on the GKS Tychy clash.

- Were you allowed to eat all of the Christmas delicacies?

- We couldnt go the whole hog, thats for sure, however, when its Christmas you should always indulge yourself a little bit and eat a couple of dishes you normally wouldnt. Well burn these extra calories during training.

- Speaking of training - how do you prepare for the Polish Cup semifinal?

- On Monday evening we began the preparations. We are working really hard, doing our best to be one hundred percent ready. We are all focused on the upcoming game against Podhale.

- You were born in Nowy Targ and you played there for a couple of years, so you must be quite happy thats where the Polish Cup tournament will take place?

- Of course. The arena in Nowy Targ is quite lucky for me as I won there everything that is to win in Poland - three league titles, Polish Cup and quite recently Polish Supercup. I really like to play there.

- Last year we took on Podhale Nowy Targ in the final, now we are to face them in the semifinal.

- Yeah, I remember last years finals but I dont think they will influence in any way whats going to be this time. Podhale must be really determined to defeat us but well do everything we can to not let that happen.

- If you win you may have to play against GKS Tychy in the final.

- Were not really thinking ahead. Were focused on the semifinals and only if we progress to the next stage of the competition we will wonder about that.
