We are more than happy to announce Matúš Chovan has completed his transfer to Comarch Cracovia!

Matúš Chovan plays in the centre or as a winger. He is 1.88 m high and weighs 86 kg. The 24-year-old has spent his whole career at HC Košice (except for his loan to Banská Bystrica) with whom he won two league championships.

Despite his young age the Slovak player is experienced on international level. He was chosen one of three Slovakia top players during U-20 World Championships. He also made his senior debut at HC Košice who regularly play in the Champions Hockey League - he got a chance to make two appearances in the elite competition.

‘Im very happy to be joining the Polish Champions. Ive heard a lot about the club and I have some friends here from the time I spent in Košice - Richard Jencik and Patrik Svitana. I hope to help Comarch Cracovia defend the league title and do good in the Champions Hockey League, said Chovan after he put pencil to paper on his contract.
