After 17 games of the playoff series Comarch Cracovia gladiators were crowned Polish champions! It wouldnt have been possible without Damian Słaboń, for whom it was the sixth league championship.

- What does the sixth league title that you win as a player mean to you?

- Its a dream come true, really. Ten years ago I won my first championship together with Cracovia so I am extremely happy I can still be on the team and win the sixth title. Its really amazing.

- The seven-game final series was really thrilling.

- All of the final series were different, but this year we played seven games both in the semifinals and in the finals. I think that the games were great to watch, they surely raised the profile of Polish hockey. We are very glad we got the happy-ending. We proved to everyone our team has tremendous character.

- What was the deciding factor? Your ambition or skills?

- I think that in this kind of games skills are of less importance. It is important to fight and be very determined to win. We were one victory down, but as we went to Tychy we had faith that we are going to turn everything around. We did it, now we can go celebrate.

- Im sure the celebration will go on far into the night!

- Yes, and we will have wonderful Easter. That victory is a special Easter gift for us and our fans
