Krystian Dziubiński: We are one step closer to the final
We wouldnt have won the fifth game against Sanok, were it not for the amazing Krystian Dziubiński! Heres what Krystian said after yesterdays game.
- We won the fifth semifinal game against Ciarko Sanok and on Thursday we will get the chance to earn qualification to the final.
- Yes, it was a close-fought game, the outcome hinged on a single play. Im sure it kept the fans at the edge of their seats. I wish we hadnt made an error near the end of the game that led to an opposition goal, however luck was on our side as we won after the penalty shootout. We are 3-2 ahead after five games.
- Filip Drzewiecki scored from a penalty shot again and Rafał Radziszewski made several impressive saves.
- Thats right. Filip Drzewiecki and Patrik Svitana turned their penalty shots into goals, while Sanok got just one in. As you said our goalie made some comfortable saves and shined his brightest. Nonetheless, I hope on Thursday the game wont go into penalty shootout again.
- Is there some psychological advantage ahead of the next game?
- Its hard to say. We are simply happy we are one step closer to the final. Well see what happens. Sanok wont give up easily, they are a great team and their sponsor wants them to win the championship.
- You had a one-on-one chance near the end of the game. Would you be angry with yourself, if Cracovia hadnt won?
- I just hoped for the best. We were in Cracow, the support from the fans was amazing and we knew they also were under pressure.
