Rudolf Roháček: Victory will certainly boost the team
Coach, this year has started very successfully: We beat GKS Katowice and reach the fifth position in the table. How would you assess this meeting?
It was a very good match, from the goalkeeper to all four fives. Admittedly, for the first ten minutes that GKS Katowice had the advantage, and the rivals strove to open the result, which they did. However from minute to minute, we were spinning up and this pressure of rivals was getting smaller, and we more and more often venturing to the goal of Katowice. In the third period, the sack with goals was released and we ultimately scored a decisive hit. This will definitely mentally build the team. A hard match is over, but hard one is ahead. On Saturday we will have one training and we are already thinking about the Sunday skirmish with Podhale Nowy Targ.
However you admit that we will face a really hard battle in next week, when we will compete in the Continental Cup Final in Danish Vojens?
Let's wait for that what will happen. Now we are focusing on the current situation, i.e. the match against Nowy Targ, for which we want to prepare well. We have to play responsibly from the first to the last minute, and that should bring success, in which I believe very much.
We already know that the Czech giant Tomas Urban has became a new player of Comarch Cracovia team. What do you expect from him and when can we see him in action?
I think that he should appear in Krakow in next few days. We'll see. He is a universal player who can perform both in the middle or on the wing, has good physical parameters and excellent statistics from the Czech or Slovak league. We expect high quality and that it will significantly contribute to achievement of our goals.
In the end I would like to return to Sunday's match with Podhale, during which the 7th edition of Teddy Bear Toss will take place at the rink at Siedleckiego 7. Is this a great action and you and the team are counting on a large attendance and loud cheering of Cracovia Fans?
Of course, I invite all fans, especially becuase it is first match in Krakow in 2020. In addition to team support, the idea of this great action is also important, so it's worth coming and support us with cheear, and in the same moment to do something good for children. Once again, on behalf of myself and the team, I invite all fans on Sunday, January 5 at 18:30 on Siedleckiego 7!
