MILOSLAV JÁCHYM: WE GIVE OUR BEST IN EVERY MATCH
Unfortunately you didn’t win in Oświęcim. What surprised you in the match?
In fact, our rivals didn’t surprise us with anything special. It was just a bad match by our team from the first to the last minute. However, we are already forgetting what happened and we are focusing on the next meetings that are waiting for us in the coming days.
Unia Oświęcim is your former club, did you feel extra motivation or pressure because of this?
I prepare in the same way for every single match and I didn't feel any pressure connected with it. This is the life of a professional hockey player that he represents various teams throughout his career. This is perfectly normal. Earlier I performed in Oświęcim and gave my best, just like now in Cracovia. From my point of view I can say that I am happy that everything went ahead in my previous club and the team is competing for high goals. However, now I focus only on the game in "Stripes" and for my part I want to give them as much as possible on ice.
There are several new players on the team now. How do you - players who have been in the club for a long time - get along with them
Certainly, this increased the competition in the team, as evidenced by recent results. We have won 8 out of 11 games and this is clear evidence that the team has received a new impulse. Individually, I will not assess anyone because I am not competent to do this.
We will play the next match on Sunday, and the opponent will be a direct rival in the table - Zagłębie Sosnowiec. How are you going to play to reach three points?
We are professionals and we give our best in every match. This time will be no different, especially since our team needs points because we want to make up for the losses to the teams at the top of the table. Both in Sosnowiec and two days later in Krakow we want to play good hockey and return to the winning path. So now I invite supporters to the match on Tuesday with Energa Toruń. Thank you for your support and we look forward to seeing you at the ice rink.
